Youths to Build Bangladesh According to Martyrs’ Vision: Tarique Rahman

Dhaka: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman emphasized the pivotal role of the youth in shaping the future of Bangladesh, aligning with the aspirations of those who sacrificed their lives over the past decade and a half. Addressing a large student rally organized by Jatiyatabadi Chatra Dal (JCD) at Shahabag, Rahman spoke about the importance of establishing rights in a fascist-free Bangladesh through the combined efforts of the youth and the wisdom of the elders.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the rally was also addressed by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and other central leaders. JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib presided over the event, with General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir moderating. Leaders and activists from various units across the country participated in the rally.



Rahman urged the youth to develop skills and capabilities, emphasizing that competent leadership across all sectors is essential for transforming Bangladesh and realizing the vision of the martyrs. He encouraged the youth to move forward with courage and integrity, assuring them of the people’s support.



The BNP acting chairman stressed the importance of capability and success in respective fields over political involvement for students. He highlighted the need for political parties to be accountable to the people and called for a shift from divisive politics to one that improves the quality of life.



He outlined BNP’s commitment to expanding information technology and technical education, enhancing language proficiency, increasing online businesses, and fostering entrepreneurship. Rahman also promised educational reforms to prevent future employment despair by emphasizing practical and technical education from the school level.



Rahman advocated for greater proficiency in English and other languages, facilitating global employment opportunities for future generations. He also highlighted the importance of practical knowledge and e-commerce, aiming to boost international-standard small and medium-sized industries.



Addressing the challenges faced by freelancers and outsourcing professionals, Rahman pledged to resolve gateway issues to facilitate the inflow of earned foreign currency. He affirmed that if given the opportunity to form the government, prompt initiatives would be taken to address these concerns.
