U-17 National Football Team Continue Training Ahead of SAFF Championship

Colombo: The Bangladesh U-17 national football team continued their full-fledged training at the Kelaniya football complex in Colombo today in preparation for the upcoming SAFF U-17 Championship. The intense training session aims to prepare the team for their first match against Nepal.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, after the morning ground training, the players participated in a swimming session at their team hotel, as organized by the Bangladesh Football Federation. The focus is on ensuring the team is in peak condition both physically and strategically for the tournament.

Goalkeeping coach Arifur Rahman Pannu expressed optimism regarding the team’s performance against Nepal. In a video message, Pannu mentioned that the team had closely analyzed Nepal’s first match and incorporated specific strategies into their training session. He emphasized that if the players manage to execute these techniques effectively, a positive result against Nepal is anticipated.
