Technical Board Witnesses 62.67pc Pass Rate in HSC Results

Dhaka: Technical Education Board witnessed 62.67 percent pass rate in this year’s results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations. A total of 105,610 students, including 77,291 male and 28,319 female, appeared in the HSC and equivalent exams under the board while a total of 66,185 students have successfully passed the examination, according to the HSC results published here today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a total of 1,610 students, including 397 male and 1,213 female students, achieved the highest grade point average-5 (GPA-5). The pass rate of other education boards varied, with 64.62 percent in Dhaka, 59.40 percent in Rajshahi, 48.86 percent in Cumilla, 50.20 percent in Jashore, 52.57 percent in Chattogram, 62.57 percent in Barishal, 51.86 percent in Sylhet, 57.49 percent in Dinajpur, 51.54 percent in Mymensingh, and 75.61 percent in the Madrasah board.



This year, a total of 12,35,661 students participated in the examinations under the nine general education boards, the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board, and the Bangladesh Technical Education Board. Of them, 726,960 students passed. The HSC and equivalent examinations were held from June 26 to August 19, 2025.
