Dhaka: Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party) Chief Coordinator Majibur Rahman Manju has emphasized that the AB Party is committed to politics centered on public welfare rather than personal interests. He made these remarks during a rally held to announce the convening committee of the party’s voluntary wing at the central office in Bijoynagar.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Manju highlighted that the AB Party has identified 20 to 22 national issues and is actively working towards resolving these challenges. He expressed optimism about the expansion of the AB Swechchhasebak Party across the nation.
During the event, Manju described the failure of other political parties to instigate any change in the state infrastructure following the July uprising as shameful. The meeting was presided over by AB Party senior vice chairman Professor Dr. Wahab Minar, and attended by other key party figures including vice chairman Lt. Col. Didarul Alam (retd), joint secretary general Advocate Abdullah Al Mamun Rana, Anwar Sadat Tutul, organizing secretary Abdul Baset Marzan, and relief and rehabilitation secretary Sultana Razia.
