Mymensingh: The Mymensingh board has achieved a pass rate of 51.54 percent in this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations. Girl students outperformed their male counterparts in terms of both pass rate and obtaining GPA-5 in the HSC examination.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Board Chairman Professor Dr. Md. Shahidullah announced the result at a press conference organized at the Mymensingh Education Board on Thursday at 10 am. A total of 79,237 students-35,607 male and 40,248 female-appeared in the HSC exams under the board while 39,096 students have been successful in the examinations, according to the HSC results published here today.
This year, a total of 2,684 students of the board achieved GPA-5. Among the GPA achievers, 1,567 are girls and 1,117 boys.
