In his address, Acting Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shahidul Haque emphasized the foundational role of milk as the first and essential food for newborns, describing it as the “perfect food” for nurturing physical, mental, and intellectual growth. He encouraged parents to discourage the consumption of junk and fast food in favor of milk and dairy products. “A healthy, intelligent, and knowledgeable generation cannot be built without milk,” he remarked, expressing hope for the inclusion of milk in school meals in Bangladesh, similar to practices in other countries.
