Meanwhile, Shuvagata Hom’s all-round brilliance gave Dhaka Division an edge over Dhaka Metro.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sylhet’s Amite Hasan struck the first double century of the 26th National Cricket League (NCL) at Cox’s Bazar Academy Ground. Starting the day at 109, Amite was eventually dismissed for 213, enabling Sylhet to declare their innings at 496-7. Khulna managed to reach 3 for no loss at the end of the day. Ebadot Hossain, returning from a knee operation, bowled a cautious first over, conceding just two runs.

In a parallel contest, the game between Dhaka Metro and Dhaka Division remained evenly poised. Dhaka Division, led by Rony Talukdar and Shuvagata Hom, fought back from a poor start to reach 254-6, still trailing by 50 runs. Shuvagata remained unbeaten on 60, with the team eyeing a potential first-innings lead.
