Rangpur Gains 83-Run Lead Against Rajshahi in NCL Clash.

Rajshahi: After an intense day at Rajshahi Stadium, Rangpur took an 83-run lead against the local team Rajshahi on Day 2 in their fourth-round game of the National Cricket League (NCL).

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, resuming the day at 39-1, Rajshahi looked poised to take a lead but Rangpur fought back to deny them. Rajshahi was eventually bowled out for 189, leaving the game in balance. Rangpur was also bowled out for 189 in its first innings. They, however, reached 83-4 at stumps in the second innings.

Opener Mim Mosaddek and Chowdhury Md Rizwan, who also took three wickets in bowling, gave Rangpur a solid start by sharing 48 runs. However, Mosaddek’s dismissal triggered a collapse as Rangpur lost three more wickets in quick succession. Mohor Sheikh snared two wickets while Sabbir Hosan, who claimed six wickets in the first innings, and Sunzamul Islam took one wicket apiece.
