Dhaka:President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu at Bangladesh Medical University on Sunday morning. The minister is currently undergoing treatment at the facility.
According to United News of Bangladesh, during his visit, the President enquired about the minister's health and expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery.
Minister Minu was initially admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on October 21 after a sudden illness. His condition worsened, prompting a diagnosis of anaemia, for which he received multiple blood transfusions. On medical advice, he was subsequently transferred to Dhaka for advanced care.
Currently, Minister Minu is being treated under the supervision of a team of specialist doctors.
