Cumilla: Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammed Aminur Rashid today assured that there is no shortage of oil in the country despite some pressure on global supply due to the ongoing war situation in the Middle East. “There is no reason to be worried about the oil supply,” the minister stated while addressing an iftar and doa programme organized by the Cumilla district unit of the Bangladesh Shop Owners Association at the Cumilla Stadium Gymnasium this afternoon.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister emphasized that Bangladesh currently has sufficient oil stock to meet domestic demand for at least one month, and the next shipment carrying oil has already set sail for the country.
