Dhaka: Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen Soneya Murshid today expressed deep shock at the death of eminent folk singer Farida Parveen. In a condolence message, the adviser prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Farida Parveen breathed her last at a city hospital last night at the age of 71.
