Moulvibazar: A three-day land fair-2025 commenced in the district today with a colorful rally and inauguration ceremony at the Deputy Commissioner's office. Deputy Commissioner Md Israil Hossain formally inaugurated the event, which aims to promote citizen-friendly land services and raise awareness about digital innovations in land management.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event kicked off with a rally from the Deputy Commissioner's office, drawing participation from officials, students, service recipients, and local residents. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Moshammat Shahina Akhter, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Taj Uddin, and officials from government departments and educational institutions joined the rally.
The land fair-2025 showcases an array of services and initiatives undertaken by the Ministry of Land. Key services provided during the fair include online submission of e-mutation applications, the immediate issuance of certified copies of land records and ledgers, distribution of compensation cheques for settled land acquisition cases, online payment of land development tax and related fees, and access to mouza maps and Digital Copy of Record (DCR) by postal way.
