URGENT NOTICE FOR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION

In accordance with the response to matters relating to COVID-19, until further notice, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Washington, D.C. will be closed to in-person consular services to the public, effective from Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

Services by mail will remain active and by fulfilling the requirements of having services by mail, service seekers may get their consular services.

All persons wishing to submit applications for the consular services should visit the Embassy’s webpage (www.bdembassyusa.org) for checklists and application specific instructions/ requirements. All applications being mailed to the Embassy should be sent and addressed to:

Please note:

- All on arrival visas are temporarily withheld for the Foreign Nationals entering into Bangladesh till March 31, 2020.

- Until further notice, all persons travelling to Bangladesh must need to submit a health certificate from certified doctor ensuring not affected by COVID-19 with the visa application.

- Until further notice, all persons travelling to Bangladesh, who already have valid Visas/ NVRs, must need to present a health certificate from certified doctor ensuring not affected by COVID-19 before the immigration officer upon arrival in Bangladesh.
