DHAKA: United Power Generation and Distribution Company Limited (UPGDCL) has been awarded the Gold Award in the Power Generation category at the ICMAB Best Corporate Award 2023. Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) presented this award, highlighting the organization’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and excellence in corporate governance, as stated in a press release today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the award was based on an evaluation of UPGDCL’s 2023 Annual Report. The recognition was given at a recent ceremony, marking a significant achievement for the company in the power generation sector.
