United efforts needed for implementing liberation war spirit

There is no alternative to united efforts of all patriotic and conscious people towards materializing the dreams and spirit of war of liberation.

They viewed concerted efforts could be the effective means of building developed and prosperous Bangladesh after overcoming all sorts of obstacles.

The observations came in a seminar styled "Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Special Initiatives, SDGs, National Integrity Strategy, Innovation and Citizen Charter" yesterday.

Press Information Department (PID) organized the seminar in its regional office in the city with the main thrust of sensitizing its people on the issue.

Principal Information Officer AKM Shamim Chowdhury addressed the seminar as focal person saying sincerity and honesty is the first step of integrity strategy.

He puts emphasis on practicing integrity strategy in personal, family, social and state life.

Deputy Principal Information Officer Bidhan Chandra Karmakar, PID Chief Feature Writer Muhammad Ali Sarker and Senior Information Officer Abdul Munim also spoke.

Shamim Chowdhury says Bangladesh has set an instance in attaining MDGs. If political stability were maintained in the country there will no problem of achieving the SDGs.

He adds all quarters side by side with the government agencies should come forward and work together for successful implementation of SDGs for presenting a happy and prosperous Bangladesh to the future generation.

Mr Chowdhury also urged the government officials to reach the implementation scenario of the Prime Minister's branding ten special initiatives to the public in general.
