Two Food Shops Fined Taka 90,000 in Chuadanga

Chuadanga: National Consumers Rights Protection Department fined two food shops Taka 90,000 for adulterating food at Karpasdanga Bazar under Damurhuda upazila of the district today. A team of the department conducted a drive at Karpasdanga Bazar this afternoon and fined Kamal Store Taka 70,000 and Gaushia Food Taka 20,000 for producing food in an unhygienic process and having false information on food packaging, said Mohammad Mamunul Hasan, assistant director of Chuadanga Consumer Rights Protection Department.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, as part of the regular operation, the essential products, children’s food, and bakery establishments were monitored in Karpasdanga Bazar.
