DMP Files 2,485 Cases for Traffic Violations

Dhaka: The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 2,485 cases across the capital for violating traffic rules during the last 24 hours.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP Traffic Division has filed those cases and collected fines on Thursday and Friday through their regular drives against traffic rule breakers, as stated in a press release.

The campaign resulted in 316 motor vehicles being dumped and 124 vehicles being wrecked. The press release further stated that these drives against traffic rule violators will continue in order to ensure discipline on the city streets.
