Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim today said those who will hit the democracy of the country, they will be resisted.
"Those who will hit the democracy of the country, they will be resisted," he said this while speaking at a food distribute function in favour of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina organized by Dhaka South City unit of Awami Swechchhasebak League at central office of AL Bangabandhu Avenue here.
Nasin said Bangladesh is moving forward at an irresistible pace in all fields under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He said a particular political party and its followers do not want development of the country and they are hatching conspiracy to destroy democracy of the country.
Noting that media workers are friend of all, he hoped they (media workers) will highlight development work of the government alongside discharging their duties with responsibility.
AL Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Aminul Islam Amin, Deputy Publicity and Publication Secretary Syed Abdul Awal Shamim, Swechchhasebak League Acting President Gazi Mesbaul Hossain Sacchu and General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu, among others, spoke on the function.
