Dhaka: Due to the 50th BCS preliminary test, the exam scheduled for the ongoing Diploma-in-Engineering course under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board on January 30 has been changed. The board’s examination controller, Engineer Md. Abul Kalam Azad, gave this information.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a notification issued from the Technical Education Board yesterday stated that the subject ‘Basic Electricity’ (26711), initially set to take place on Friday (January 30) at 9:30 am, will now be held at 2:30 pm on the same day due to the BCS exam.
In addition, the exams for ‘Survey CAD’ (27832) and ‘Industrial Electronics’ (26833), originally scheduled for 2:30 pm on January 30, have been rescheduled to 10 am on Sunday (February 1). The Technical Education Board further indicated that the practical exams will commence on February 1 and continue until February 7, with specific instructions that the practical exam on February 1 be conducted in the 3rd and 4th shifts.
While the date and time of the exams have been altered, all other terms and conditions of the previously issued notification will remain unchanged. All the centers and educational institutions concerned have been informed about the updated exam schedule.
