SSC Exams for 2025 Scheduled to Commence on April 10

DHAKA: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2025 are set to begin on April 10 and will continue until May 8, as announced in a notification by Professor Md Abul Bashar, convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Regulatory Committee and Examination Controller of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the examinations will be conducted on a full-marks and full-time basis, starting with the Bangla first paper on April 10. The theoretical exams will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the scheduled dates. Practical exams are slated to occur from May 10 to May 18, with all practical assessments required to be completed by the latter date. The notification advises candidates to collect their admit cards from their respective institution heads at least three days prior to the start of the exams. Students are expected to be seated in the examination room thirty minutes before the exam begins. The examination sche dule will follow the times specified in the question paper. The format will start with multiple choice questions (MCQ) tests, followed immediately by creative/compositional (theoretical) tests, without any breaks in between. Candidates are permitted to use ordinary scientific calculators during examinations. Additionally, the notification stipulates that only the center secretary is permitted to use a mobile phone at the exam center.
