Skilled entrepreneurs needed to face business challenges: Speakers

Speakers at a workshop on Saturday said the SME entrepreneurs of the country are the main driving force of the economy and if their skill acquisition is ensured the scope of employment in Bangladesh would increase.

 

They said this at a workshop titled ‘Business Masterclass-Master the Chaos in Your Business’ organized by DCCI Business Institute (DBI) in cooperation with Beyond Red Ocean (BRO) Consulting, Mumbai, India at DCCI Auditorium.

 

They said the advancement of Information Communication and Technology has changed the trend of operating a business a lot. In order to adapt to the new scenario, there is no alternative but to prepare the entrepreneurs, they said.

 

At present conducting business has become very challenging for SMEs and to overcome the challenges innovation and skills development need to be given more focus, they said.

 

DCCI Acting President Arman Haque was present as the chief guest. Malay Chakroborty, Business Coach, BRO Consulting, conducted the workshop for entrepreneurs in the capital.

 

DCCI Vice President Monowar Hossain and other senior leaders of the trade body were present at the function. Around 30 entrepreneurs attended the event.
