Dhaka: Both the boys' and girls' division finals of the 29th Polar Ice Cream School Handball competition will be held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital tomorrow (Sunday). On the day, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College will take on Sunnydale in the girls' division final at 2.30 pm, while Sunnydale will face Narinda Govt. High School in the boys' division final match at 3.30 pm.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Sunnydale secured their spot in the boys' division final by defeating Saint Gregory School with a score of 31-13, after leading the first half by 15-7 goals in the first semifinal match. Meanwhile, Narinda Govt. School claimed victory over Dhaka Govt. Muslim High School by 19-12 goals, having dominated the first half by 11-7 goals in the second semifinal.
In the girls' division, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College triumphed over Shaheed Bir Uttam Lieutenant Anwar Girls School with a 17-2 goal victory, after leading the first half by 9-0 goals in the first semifinal. Sunnydale also secured a decisive win against Sher-e-Bangla Girls College, finishing with 29-1 goals after a commanding 19-0 lead in the first half of the second semifinal.
