Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament and Chief Patron of Jatiya Party Rowshan Ershad today called for keeping price of daily essential commodities at tolerable level in the country.
In a statement, she made this call saying the prices of daily necessities have increased in the last few days.
"Many unscrupulous syndicate traders are working to increase the prices of daily necessities. The government should break this dishonest syndicate," she added.
Even after fixing the price of various products by the government, sellers are selling goods at prices higher than the fixed price.
Rowshan called upon the government to immediately take action against the syndicates and said that the government should strengthen its initiative to distribute the TCB products more accurately and widely across the country.
