Geneva: Leaders of Debate for Democracy (DFD) have demanded exemplary punishment for those who were involved in the harassment of Law Adviser Professor Dr. Asif Nazrul in Geneva, Switzerland. DFD chairman Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiran today urged the Bangladesh Embassy in Switzerland to take legal action against the culprits, who were involved in such activities.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, some unruly people behaved rudely with Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul at Geneva Airport recently. These individuals are described as followers of fascists, and their actions were aimed at tarnishing the image of the Bangladesh government.
Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiran called on all concerned parties to play an effective role in upholding national dignity and preventing the recurrence of such crimes. The demand for legal action highlights the seriousness with which DFD views the incident, emphasizing the need for accountability and justice.
