Anti-Discrimination Students Demand Trial of Awami League Leaders for Alleged Crimes.

Chattogram: The anti-discrimination student movement today demanded the trial of Awami League (AL) leaders and activists for crimes committed over the last 15 years. They voiced this demand during a protest meeting held at New Market Junction area this afternoon. Prior to the meeting, participants organized a procession starting from the city’s Parade Corner area, marching through various city streets.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the protest meeting was addressed by Chattogram Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Coordinator Russel Ahmed and Khan Talat Mahmud Rafi. During his speech, Russel Ahmed highlighted the sacrifices made by students who have shed blood on the streets in efforts to overthrow what he described as fascist forces from Bangladesh at different times.
