Public services will be smart in Smart Bangladesh: Palak

State Minister for Information and

Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, has categorically said

all the public services will be smart in Smart Bangladesh envisioned by Prime

Minister Sheikh Hasina.

"None will need to go to government offices for public services. All

concerned will get services in Smartphone," he added.

State Minister Palak made the observation while addressing the closing

ceremony of the Micro Course on 'Intellectual History of Startup' at Sheikh

Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre auditorium at Bangabandhu Sheikh

Mujib Hi-tech Park here today as the chief guest.

Around 240 learners from five universities in the district joined the course

for developing startups.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak said the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Hi-tech Park has been

established for flourishing latent talents of intellectuals and generating

new employment scopes.

He urged the new generations for best and proper uses of the scopes for

cherished development of the nation.

Palak told the meeting that a target has been set to build Smart Bangladesh

on the basis of four pillars- Smart Citizen, Smart Government, Smart Society

and Smart Economy-by 2041.

Managing Director of Bangabandhu Hi-tech Park GSM Jafarullah, Commissioner of

Rajshahi division Dr Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Project Director of

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Hi-tech Park Fazlul Haque and Deputy Commissioner of

Rajshahi Shamim Ahmed also spoke on the occasion.

State Minister Palak also hinted that the government is ready to facilitate

impact innovation on localization of search engines, social media,

communications and streaming apps to secure the public data on the internet.

He said the life and works of Bangabandhu have to be upheld among youths as

they can develop the future of the country with an indomitable mind to

innovate ideas for social changes.
