Dhaka: The proposed budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year has suggested an allocation of Tk 116 crore for the cabinet division. This announcement was made today, marking a significant point in the financial planning for the upcoming fiscal period.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the budget documents were unveiled by Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed. Of the total amount, Taka 96 crore has been proposed for operational purposes, while Taka 20 crore has been earmarked for development purposes. This allocation reflects a strategic approach to managing the cabinet division’s financial needs.
The revised budget for the outgoing fiscal year had allocated Taka 111 crore for the cabinet division. However, the new proposed allocation is Taka six crore less than the original national budget of the last fiscal year, which had sanctioned Taka 96 crore for operational and Taka 20 crore for development purposes.
