Feni:Dhaka Prime Minister Tarique Rahman returned to the capital after completing a daylong visit to Feni, where he participated in a series of official events.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Prime Minister's agenda included inaugurating the Tk1,542.16-crore Muhuri-Kohua Flood Control, Drainage and Irrigation Project Rehabilitation (Phase I) in Parshuram. He also initiated canal excavation, river dredging, and embankment construction activities.
During his visit, the Prime Minister launched a tree-planting programme at Begum Khaleda Zia Women's College in Fulgazi and oversaw the installation of rooftop solar power systems at government institutions across Fulgazi, Chhagalnaiya, and Parshuram.
At Fulgazi Government Pilot High School ground, he distributed Family Cards and Farmer Cards and provided honorariums to religious leaders before addressing a public gathering. The Prime Minister's motorcade reached his official residence in Dhaka around 1115pm, having left Feni at approximately 7pm.
