Dhaka:The President has called on the Attorney General's Office to perform its duties with dedication and integrity.
According to United News of Bangladesh, President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made this appeal during a meeting with Attorney General Md Ruhul Quddus Kazal at Bangabhaban. The President emphasized the importance of professionalism and accountability while maintaining the dignity of the Constitution and supporting the democratic process.
During the meeting, the Attorney General congratulated President Mirza Fakhrul on his new role and extended his best wishes. He updated the President on the Attorney General's Office's activities, as well as initiatives to protect the state's interests and legal rights.
The discussions also covered topics such as safeguarding the state's legal interests, ensuring justice, protecting citizens' rights, and the effective role of constitutional institutions. President Mirza Fakhrul assured the Attorney General of his full support in fulfilling these responsibilities.
President's Press Secretary Md Sarwar Alam was also present at the meeting.
