Gazipur:Three people lost their lives and three others were injured in a collision between a truck and an auto-rickshaw on Joydebpur-Tongi Road in the Dhirasram area of Gazipur city on Wednesday.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the accident occurred around noon in front of Dhirasram GK High School. The truck collided with the Joydebpur-bound auto-rickshaw, resulting in two immediate fatalities and four injuries.
The injured individuals were transported to a local hospital, where one of them later succumbed to their injuries. The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed.
Police have taken the truck into custody and arrested the driver as part of their investigation into the incident.
