Dhaka: A delegation from Power-China Limited convened with Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan at his office on the DU campus today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting centered on discussions about various issues of mutual interest. Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan highlighted the university’s limited resources, mentioning challenges such as inadequate facilities for teachers and students, a shortage of residential halls, medical centers, and modern equipment for research. He emphasized the university’s efforts to optimize the use of its limited resources.
The delegation from Power-China Resources Limited expressed a keen interest in investing in several sectors of DU. The Vice-Chancellor welcomed this interest, viewing it as an opportunity to enhance the university’s infrastructure and resources.
The meeting was attended by Power-China Resources Limited Executive Vice President San Shuhua, Barishal Electric Power Company Limited CEO Chen Sujian, Power-China Project Support Department General Manager Liu Zhengyun, Deputy General Manager Ju Yean, Manager Wang Rui, and investment consultant Advocate Humayun Kabir.
