Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Traffic Division has filed a total of 1,558 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DMP Traffic Division conducted these operations on April 15, aiming to address traffic rule violations and enhance road safety in Dhaka.
The DMP’s press release highlighted that the enforcement efforts resulted in the dumping of 206 motor vehicles and the wrecking of 93 vehicles. These measures are part of the DMP’s ongoing commitment to maintaining discipline on the city’s streets.
The statement emphasized that such drives against traffic rule violators will continue to ensure that order is upheld on Dhaka’s roads, reflecting the city’s commitment to improving traffic conditions and public safety.
