Photo Exhibition on Khaleda Zia’s Active Life Begins in Ctg

Chattogram: A two-day photo exhibition showcasing the life of national leader and three-time former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia has commenced in Chattogram. The exhibition was officially opened by the Bogura Media and Cultural Society-Dhaka at the Mukta Mancha premises of the Chattogram District Shilpakala Academy.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, BNP Chattogram Divisional Co-organising Secretary Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, along with other guests, visited the exhibition and signed the condolence book after the inauguration. Barrister Helal Uddin commended Begum Khaleda Zia for her leadership in advocating for democracy and the rights of the people, noting her life as an inspiration for the younger generation.



Former convener of Chattogram South District BNP and BNP-nominated candidate for Chattogram-9 constituency, Mohammad Abu Sufian, spoke about Begum Khaleda Zia’s journey from a housewife to a three-time Prime Minister, highlighting the challenges she encountered. He emphasized that her political career is closely linked with the history of the democratic movement in Bangladesh.



The photo exhibition features over a hundred rare photographs capturing various aspects of Begum Khaleda Zia’s life and political career. It traces her journey from a regular housewife to a three-time Prime Minister. Additionally, a special documentary focusing on her life and political struggles is being shown.



Special guests at the event included Bogura Media and Cultural Society Executive Member Aranya Pasha, Chattogram city JASAS Member Secretary Mamunur Rashid Shipon, and City Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Shariful Islam Tuhin. Leaders, activists, and supporters from different levels of the BNP and its affiliated organizations, as well as numerous visitors, attended the event.



The Bogura Media and Cultural Society organized a photo exhibition in 12 districts across the country in the first phase, showcasing the life of Begum Khaleda Zia.
