Haque today said the overall law and order situation in the country is good.
The law and order situation in the country has become almost normal, he
told this after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Law and Order at the
Home Ministry conference room.
The minister said the crisis is now dengue, which is outbreak in the
country, but the government is working relentlessly to keep it under control.
He said, We should be aware about rumours, because a vested quarter is
carrying out rumours across the country. The law enforcement agencies are
working against rumours.
Replying to a query about disappearance, the minister said, People are
disappearing after sometimes and they returned later. There are different
reasons for disappearing, some people are corrupt, they escaped themselves,
sometime some people suddenly disappears due to family or social pressure,
even some disappear were found out to be due to mental disorder.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Industries Minister, LGRD Minister
Tajul Islam, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Md Mahbub Ali and concerned
officials attended the meeting.
