Dhaka: Primary and Mass Education Adviser Prof. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar emphasized the pivotal role of teachers and students in the education sector, stating that the ministry’s primary responsibility is to support and facilitate their needs. Dr. Bidhan made these remarks during a workshop organized by the Directorate of Primary Education at the Primary Teachers’ Training Institute (PTI) in Mirpur.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event also featured discussions from Abu Noor Md. Shamsuzzaman, the Director General of the Primary Education Directorate, and Farid Ahmed, the Director General of the National Academy of Primary Education (NAPE). The workshop aimed to address key issues and strategies to enhance the support system for educators and learners in the primary education sector.
The day-long event saw participation from various officials from the Primary and Mass Education Ministry and the Primary Education Directorate. The discussions were focused on developing effective educational policies and frameworks to ensure the efficient functioning of the primary education system.
