Though it can’t perform like an AMOLED screen, still you would enjoy immersive viewing experience with punchy colors. With 480 nit brightness, its display works great in direct sunlight.

Camera

Unlike competitor brands, Oppo offers a professional camera. Oppo A52 holds this legacy even if being a budget Smartphone. It has quad cameras (12MP+8MP+2MP+2MP) on the rear side and one camera (16MP) on the front side.

Let’s turn to the rear cameras first. Its 12 MP wide sensor (f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.8-inch lens size, 1.25 micron) can take good images holding the sharpness, details, and color accuracy at a decent level. Unlike the competitor Realme phones, the ‘normal mode’ captures of Oppo A52 are not washed up with imposed brightness. Under ‘Portrait mode’, this phone can skillfully blur the background and maintain the balance between accuracy and brightness. Furthermore, the Portrait mode has a wider focus without blurring the side portions.

Oppo A52 comes with an 8 MP ultra-wide (f/2.2, 1/4.0″, 1.12µm) shooter. It can take expand the frame at a 119-degree viewing angle. Due to poor zooming quality, the photos may lose sharpness a bit. But considering its price-tag, the picture quality is fine. Besides these, Oppo A52 comes with a macro and a depth camera both featuring 2MP at F/2.4 aperture. The night-mode feature works okay but not so overwhelming. You can get better photos by applying the LED flash. Other essential features like HDR and panorama are also present in this phone.

Oppo A52’s global version is blessed with 16MP wide front-camera (f/2.0 aperture, 1/3.06-inch, 1.0 micron). Like other Oppo Phones, A52 does a great job of taking attractive selfies. Utilizing efficient zooming capacity, you can take natural selfies. Under the portrait mode, it can apply some smoothness without hampering the color accuracy, which is really praise-worthy. However, if you prefer excessive brightness checkout other Oppo phones like Oppo Reno 4.

With Oppo A52’s rear shooter, you can shoot up to 4K videos at 30fps, or 1080p at 30/60/120fps. It has a gyro-EIS feature, but stabilization quality is below standard. Whereas, the front shooter at capture 1080p videos at 30fps without any stabilization. The video quality is moderate without much brightness. Oppo A52 doesn’t offer high-end performance, but still it can be used for professional works like YouTubing and Vlogging.
