Dhaka: The online application process for admission to class XI for the 2025-26 academic session began today. The first phase of applications will continue until August 11.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, students can apply exclusively through the official website (https://www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd/), as no manual applications will be accepted. The application fee has been set at Taka 220, and candidates can select between five and ten colleges of their preference. Selection will be based on merit, quota, and preference from the list provided by the candidates.
Students who passed the SSC examination from the science group have the flexibility to choose from three streams-science, humanities, or business studies-at the intermediate level. In contrast, students from the humanities or business studies groups can only select between those two streams. Notably, there will be no admission test; the process will rely solely on SSC and equivalent examination results.
During the first phase, online applications will be received until August 11, with results being published at 8 pm on August 20. Classes are scheduled to commence on September 15, following the completion of the second phase of applications.
