Lumbini: Two newly-appointed ministers of Lumbini Province on Sunday took oath of office and secrecy.
Newly-appointed ministers Krishna KC of the CPN (Maoist Centre) took oath of office as the Minister for Urban Development and Saroj Thapa of Nepali Congress as the Minister for Industry and Transport Management.
Province Chief Amik Sherchan administered oath of office to the ministers.
KC was elected from Banke and Thapa from Pyuthan in the last year’s provincial assembly elections.
Chief Minister Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary had inducted them as the ministers on Saturday.
With the addition of two ministers, there is now a nine-member cabinet in Lumbini.
