Dhaka: National Citizen Party (NCP) today greeted BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on the 47th founding anniversary of the party. A delegation from NCP, including Chief Coordinator (Northern Region) Sarjis Alam, along with senior joint convener Ariful Islam Adib and Samantha Sharmin, visited the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan this evening to deliver their greetings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the NCP delegation presented bouquets of flowers intended for BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. The bouquets were received by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and National Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed on behalf of the BNP Chairperson and Acting Chairman. Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP media cell, confirmed the gesture.
