National Cooperative Day Observed in Chapainawabganj.

Chapainawabganj: The 53rd National Cooperative Day was observed in Chapainawabganj with the theme “Cooperative to build discrimination-free Bangladesh.” Various programs took place in the district to commemorate the day.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the day’s activities commenced with the hoisting of the national flag at the Deputy Commissioner’s office at 10:15 am. A colorful procession, involving officers and employees of the district administration and the Cooperative Department, followed the flag hoisting. The procession traversed the main roads of the town before returning to the starting point.

Subsequently, a discussion meeting was convened at the DC’s conference room. The meeting was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Nakib Hasan Tarafdar. Deputy Director of Local Government Debendra Nath Oraon served as the chief guest, while Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Operation) Md. Nuruzzaman attended as the special guest.

Officer Md. Mostafizur Rahman delivered the welcome speech. The event also featured speeches from members of Cooperative Societies, including Tania Begum, Matiur Rahman, and Md. Gazi, among others.
