Malaysian Prime Minister to Meet Chief Adviser for Bilateral Discussions

Putrajaya: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will welcome Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the Perdana Putra Building in Putrajaya at 9am local time tomorrow. The meeting is part of a planned series of bilateral talks between Malaysia and Bangladesh.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Chief Adviser Yunus will first inspect a parade as the national anthems of both nations are played. This ceremonial event will be overseen by Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder. After the parade, Prof Yunus will move to the stage, where he will be introduced to the Malaysian delegation.



Following the introductions, Prof Yunus and his delegation will engage in bilateral meetings with the Malaysian counterparts. These discussions aim to enhance cooperation and strengthen ties between the two countries. The meetings will culminate in a joint press conference, which will take place between 10:45am and 11:00am local time, and will be broadcast live by Bangladesh Television.



Chief Adviser Prof Yunus arrived in Malaysia today for a three-day state visit, marking a significant step in fostering diplomatic relations between the two nations.
