Let Govt Work, Don’t Create Anarchy: Mirza Abbas

Dhaka: BNP standing committee member and Dhaka-8 lawmaker Mirza Abbas today urged all not to create chaos in the country and called for giving the government a chance to work. He emphasized the importance of patience and stability, especially for those trying to force the government to fall.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mirza Abbas made these remarks while speaking as the chief guest at an iftar mahfil organised by the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) in the capital. The event was presided over by IEB interim convener Engineer Md Kabir Hossain.



During his address, Abbas stressed that no problem or anarchy should be stirred in the nation. He highlighted that a democratic government has come to power after a significant period and should be allowed an opportunity to work. He urged people to let the government function and noted that the public will have the chance to decide the future of this government in the next election.



The BNP leader also mentioned the party’s efforts to build a new Bangladesh. He referenced the contributions of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia in the nation’s development. Abbas expressed hope that BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman would play a role in building a more prosperous Bangladesh in the future.
