Rain, Thundershowers Forecasted in Specific Regions of Bangladesh

Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted the likelihood of rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, in several parts of the country within the next 24 hours starting from 9 am.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the met office bulletin indicated that regions including Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, and Barishal divisions might experience these weather conditions at one or two locations. It was also mentioned that the weather is expected to remain mainly dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky in other parts of the country.

The bulletin further noted that both day and night temperatures are likely to stay almost unchanged across the nation. On Saturday, Sylhet under Sylhet division recorded the highest temperature at 34.2 degrees Celsius, while today’s minimum temperature was noted at 17.3 degrees Celsius in the same region.

The sun is scheduled to set at 6.05 pm today and rise at 6.14 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
