Rajshahi:Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu, MP, has stated that fearing or submitting to external influences from Delhi will not benefit Bangladesh.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Minu addressed the 47th founding anniversary of the Jatiyatabadi Olama Dal at the Rajshahi District Shilpakala Academy, asserting that conspirators against Bangladesh will find no place in the country. He warned of a similar conspiracy being planned for December, reminiscent of the caretaker government's actions in 1996.

Minu remarked that Bangladesh is under Allah's protection and criticized those working under Delhi's influence as accomplices of negative forces. He described Maududi as a divisive figure created by the British and aligned with Indian interests.

In light of the upcoming mayoral election in Rajshahi, Minu urged party leaders and activists to align with the high command's directives and support the nominated candidate. He expressed confidence that the BNP-backed candidates would secure a significant victory, owing to the public's admiration for Shaheed Zia and Begum Zia.

The minister also committed to supporting the Alem-Ulama, promising to transfer responsibilities for religious institutions and donations to them, removing those who misuse religion for personal gain.

At the event, special guest Advocate Shafiqul Haque Milon, MP, emphasized the importance of remembering past injustices and urged party members to avoid internal conflicts. The gathering was presided over by Maulana Tajuddin, with several notable figures in attendance, including Professor Nazrul Islam Mondal, former mayor Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul, and others.
