Khulna: Members of the athletics team of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) paid a courtesy call on Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Masud ahead of the inter-university athletic competition to be held at Islamic University. The meeting was conducted at the Vice Chancellor’s office located in the university’s administrative building on Sunday noon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor handed over university jerseys to the team members and extended his best wishes for their success in the upcoming competition. The event was attended by several university officials, including Director of Student Welfare Office Prof Dr Md Hasan Ali, Acting Deputy Director Rajan Kumar Raha, Acting Deputy Director Md Mahmudul Alam, Assistant Director Shah Muhammad Azmat Ullah, and Physical Education Officer Syed Raihanul Islam.
Physical Education Trainer Md Azizur Rahman will accompany the team as manager and coach, ensuring comprehensive support for the athletes. The KUET team members set to participate in the competition include Nikhil Ranjan Roy of the Civil Engineering Department, Suwaib Talukdar of the Architecture Department, Imdadul Haque of the CSE Department, AHM Ahsan Habib of the Leather Engineering Department, Ariful Islam Sheikh of the CSE Department, and Tritam Ghosh of the IEM Department.
