JU and Unico Hospitals Sign MoU to Offer Reduced Healthcare Services to University Community

Jahangirnagar university: Jahangirnagar University (JU) and Unico Hospitals have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at providing healthcare and diagnostic services at reduced rates to the university community. The MoU signing took place in the conference room of the university's Vice-Chancellor's Office at approximately 3:30 pm.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the MoU was signed by JU Treasurer Professor Dr Md Sohel Rana and Unico Hospitals CEO Adra Kurien. This collaboration will enable JU teachers, students, officers, employees, and their dependents to access diagnostic and other healthcare services from Unico Hospitals at discounted prices.

The signing ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr Md Shamsul Alam, Chairman of the Department of Government and Politics Prof Dr Nurul Huda Sakib, and Prof Dr KM Mohiuddin. From Unico Hospitals, Chief of Medical Services Brigadier General (retd) Dr Md Sharif Ahmed, General Manager of Healthcare Development and Public Relations Ruby Rebecca Oreng, and Senior Manager of Corporate Relations Rezaul Karim were present to witness the agreement.
