DHAKA- The 15th session of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) will begin at 5 pm today, according to a parliament secretariat source.
President Abdul Hamid earlier summoned the parliament session exercising his power bestowed upon him in line with the Article 72 (1) of the Constitution.
This will be a pre-budget brief session in compliance with constitutional obligation of holding a new session within 60 working days of the previous one.
"The budget session is likely to be summoned any day later of this month," he added.
The last (14th) session of parliament was prorogued on March 11 beginning on January 22.
