Dhaka: Jamaat candidate Md Saiful Alam has emerged victorious in the Dhaka-12 constituency during the 13th National Parliament Election. He secured a total of 53,773 votes, surpassing his nearest rival, Saiful Haque of the Bangladesh Biplobi Workers’ Party, who garnered 30,963 votes.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the election results were officially announced at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre, located at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon, within the capital.
