Indian Goods Seized in Satkhira Borders

Dhaka: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized Indian sarees, three-piece suits, and other goods from the Satkhira border in various anti-smuggling operations.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the goods were confiscated from different border areas under Padmashakhra, Bhomra, Ghona, Baikari, Toluigacha, Kakdanga, and Madra Border Outposts (BOPs) of Sadar and Kalaroa upazilas on Sunday. The total market value of the seized items is Taka 7.25 lakh.

Satkhira BGB-33 Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Md. Ashraful Haque confirmed the incident and stated that the seized Indian goods have been deposited with Satkhira Customs.
