IGP Returns Home After Attending INTERPOL Assembly in Glasgow.

Dhaka: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Mainul Islam has returned home from the United Kingdom after attending the 92nd General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization, INTERPOL. The assembly, which took place in Glasgow, was a significant event attended by representatives from 196 member countries. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, IGP Md Mainul Islam traveled to Glasgow on November 3 to participate in the four-day assembly held from November 4 to 7. During the assembly, the Bangladesh delegation engaged in bilateral meetings and exchanges with representatives from various countries. They also held discussions with the Human Resources Management division of INTERPOL on the sidelines of the assembly. In addition to these engagements, the Bangladesh Police signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Australian Federal Police. This agreement marked a notable step in strengthening international cooperation between the two law enforcement agencies.
